1. Preparation for Your Shoot - Ensure the property is staged and photo-ready. - Remove vehicles from the driveway. - Turn on all lights and turn off fans. - Conceal personal items and trash cans. - Open all blinds and shades. *Note: We recommend the property be vacant during the shoot for optimal results. Please be aware that, in compliance with local MLS guidelines, all personal items, including but not limited to family photos, should be removed from the property prior to our arrival. This includes artwork that may depict individuals. Riptide Media is not responsible for any fines incurred due to non-compliance with these guidelines.*

 

2. Special Requests - Specify any special requests on our order form or inform us prior to arrival. - Spaces like garages and closets are not typically photographed unless requested. - Requests made after the appointment may incur a $100 Interior/Exterior refresh shoot fee.

 

3. Cancellations and Changes - Reschedule up to 8 hours before the appointment via your confirmation email or our client portal. - For last-minute changes (within 8 hours), contact us at 850-495-7404. - No charge for cancellations made before we are en route. - No-shows or unprepared properties will incur a $100 cancellation fee.

 

4. Revisions - Submit revision requests within 48 hours of delivery. - Requests after 48 hours may not be feasible due to our 48 Hour RAW file storage policy.

 

5. Weather Policy - We offer free sky replacements, so rescheduling due to rain is rarely necessary. - Weather decisions are made approximately one hour before the appointment. - Cancellations due to weather will never incur a fee.

 

6. Payment Terms - Payment is due upon project delivery. - Invoices are past due after 48 hours. - Late payment may result in account suspension and access to media being revoked.

 

7. Corporate Events - A 50% deposit is required upfront. - The balance is due upon media delivery.

 

8. Matterport Hosting Policy - Hosting for your Matterport scan is free for the first 90 days. - Post 90 days, you may extend hosting with us for an additional fee, or we will transfer the space to your Matterport account free of charge.

 

9. Copyright - Riptide Media retains the right to use all media for marketing and other purposes. - Clients purchase usage rights for a specific duration. Real Estate and Rental Images may only be distributed for the duration of the listing and may not be used for any other marketing purpose without a license buyout or permission from Riptide Media. - Media cannot be redistributed, sold, or transferred without our consent. - Violations may result in legal action.

 

10. Compliance with Local Laws - Our services comply with all applicable local, state, and federal laws in Florida and Alabama. - We ensure adherence to privacy laws and property rights during our photography and videography sessions. As such, photographing busy public spaces may not be possible without permission from the property and/or signed release forms from individuals inhabiting the space at the time of service.

 

11. Liability and Indemnification - Riptide Media is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from our services. - Clients agree to indemnify and hold Riptide Media harmless against any claims or damages arising from the use of our services.

 

12. Web Content and Privacy Policy - Web Content Use: All content on our website, including images, text, and digital downloads, is the property of Riptide Media or its content suppliers and protected by United States and international copyright laws. The compilation of all content on this site is the exclusive property of Riptide Media. - Client Information Privacy: Riptide Media is committed to protecting your privacy. We do not share client information, including names, contact details, or payment information, with any third parties, except as required by law or necessary for the provision of our services (e.g., payment processing). - Data Security: We employ a variety of security measures to maintain the safety of your personal information. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security. - User Account Responsibility: If you use our website, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password and for restricting access to your computer. You agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account or password. - Cookies and Tracking Technologies: Our website may use "cookies" and other tracking technologies to enhance user experience, analyze trends, administer the site, track users' movements around the site, and gather demographic information about our user base as a whole. - Changes to Web Content and Privacy Policy: Riptide Media reserves the right to make changes to our site, policies, service terms, and these Terms of Service at any time. 13. Dispute Resolution - Any disputes arising under these terms will be resolved through arbitration in Pensacola, Florida, in accordance with local laws.
